The route, day by day

Day 01
Arrive Paro → Thimphu
The famous Paro descent, then an hour's drive to the capital. Evening at the Memorial Chorten among circumambulating elders.
Day 02
Thimphu essentials
Buddha Dordenma at sunrise, the craft bazaar, textile museum and a lunch of ema datshi done properly. Drive to Paro at dusk.
Day 03
Tiger's Nest
The full pilgrimage hike to Taktsang monastery — 4–5 hours round trip with tea at the viewpoint.
Day 04
Paro valley
Kyichu Lhakhang, Rinpung Dzong and a farewell farmhouse dinner with a traditional hot-stone bath.
Day 05
Depart Paro
Morning transfer to the airport.
