The route, day by day
7 days, unhurried.
Day 01
Arrive Paro
Gentle arrival. Herbal tea consultation, valley-view room, early rest at altitude.
Day 02
Breath & the valley floor
Sunrise meditation with your monk teacher, then a slow forest-bathing walk along the Paro Chhu. First dotsho hot-stone bath at dusk.
Day 03
Traditional medicine day
Consultation with a menpa (traditional physician) — pulse reading, dietary guidance, personalised herbal blends.
Day 04
Paro → Thimphu
A quiet transfer day. Afternoon restorative yoga and an evening chanting session at a city monastery.
Day 05
Mountain silence
Half-day hike to Phajoding monastery above Thimphu for a silent sitting with the resident monks. Evening massage.
Day 06
Return to Paro
Final hot-stone bath, journaling session, farewell farm-to-table dinner.
Day 07
Depart Paro
Sunrise meditation, breakfast, transfer to the airport.
